Bee Enchanted Cic

Bee Enchanted CIC is a creative community organisation based in Sunderland, delivering inclusive and accessible programmes in dance, circus, and the arts. We work with older adults, women experiencing mental health challenges, and young people, using co-created movement, creativity, and performance to build confidence, improve wellbeing, and reduce social isolation.

Our projects include youth circus and dance workshops, visual arts sessions—including spray paint collaborations with street artist Frank Styles—and professionally-led community performances that tour across the North East. These experiences offer participants a chance to develop their creative voice, connect with others, and take part in inspiring public events.

We’re based at The Old Rectory Community Hub, but we also tour our sessions to community venues, public parks, and beaches, bringing creativity directly into local spaces. Our team is made up of professional artists and volunteers with lived experience, ensuring all sessions are welcoming, empowering, and deeply rooted in the communities we serve.

Bee Enchanted also works in partnership with health and cultural organisations to support creative wellbeing and social prescribing across Sunderland and beyond.
