This course introduces the key concepts of mental wellbeing and focuses on the range of factors which can affect mental wellbeing, whilst also promoting good mental health with individuals and groups in a variety of contexts. 

Aims of the Training

 – Understand the importance of good mental health and wellbeing and have good knowledge of how to promote these with people who need care and support.

 – Knowledge for roles that require general mental health awareness.

 – Knowledge and skills for those working with/caring for people with mental health needs.
