We are looking for friendly volunteers to support our guided walks programme across the Links with Nature greenspaces within the Coalfield area of Sunderland. No experience necessary, any training and support will be provided in our taster session before supporting on any walks.

Join us at Elemore Park for our Volunteer Walk Marshal Taster Session. During this session we will provide training on how to support on guided walks and take part in a short gentle guided walk of the park. When attending our Taster session please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear and dress according to weather forecasts. About Our Wild Wander Walk Programme – What to expect when you volunteer
Walks take place at Hetton Park and Bogs every second Sunday of the Month 10:00.
Walks take place at different sites every fourth Friday of the Month starting at 10:00.
Our walks will start and end at greenspaces with facilities, you can choose to stay and grab a cuppa after the walk.
Walks will be over varied terrain, sometime muddy, with gentle climbs and steps. Walks will vary in length between 2- 10 miles and lasting 1hour 30 minutes – 2 hours in time.
