Youth Careers Support

We have a full time youth careers worker available for anyone aged 16-25 years inclusive.  All of the support we offer is free and confidential.  

We can support you to create or update a CV as well as assist with cover letters and job applications.  

We have a Facebook group where we share the latest job vacancies, training opportunities and upcoming career fairs etc… https://www.facebook.com/groups/919921735111017

We can offer mock interviews, interview preparation tips and techniques as well as helping with researching the company and ensuring you know where they are located and helping with bus times etc.  

The support can be in person, over the phone or through e-mail and instant messaging to suit you and your availability.  

We are on the local bus route and are available Monday to Friday 9.30-4.30, with e-mails and messages being checked occasionally outside of office hours too to ensure nothing urgent is missed.  

We can help you create an e-mail address, help with cloud storage for your CV/Cover letter, help you understand and record your job search for Universal Credit
