Prom dress/suit hire

Building Blocks launched a heart-warming initiative to ensure that disadvantaged youngsters can attend their prom night.  After a piece in the sunderland echo asking for donations, John Helm, a local businessman, donated over 100 pre-loved prom dresses and 20 suits to Building Blocks Day Centre in Concord, Washington. These dresses and suits are worth a significant amount of money, and they will allow young people to enjoy their special occasion without the financial burden. The average cost for a teenage girl’s prom attire is around £400, while boys’ outfits cost approximately £240. John’s generous gesture ensures that kids who might otherwise struggle to afford these expenses can still go to their ball. It’s a beautiful way to give back to the community and make prom dreams come true!
