Mini youth club

As a parent with no child care support from family, I have massively relied on the group to.allow me to work or do tasks at home. I appreciate the work of staff and the support from the council to allow the holiday club to continue and support our children’s life experiences and social skills/development. The only area I think could be developed is the booking process. The places becasme available very close to the holiday and were taken up so quickly last time they were released…despite them being in my basket I missed out on some. Thankfully I got a day through the reserve list. Thank you for recognising we use the group regularly and we are loyal and committed to attend.

Our son has attended a number of sessions over the last few years and always has a great time. The staff are friendly and approachable, sessions are always fun and we hear about it for days afterwards which is lovely. It gives the children independence and we are very relaxed to leave him in the safe hands of North East Sport staff. Our youngest attended her first session over Easter and loved it too, overall a fantastic opportunity for the younger generations to enjoy!

Hardworking, passionate and enthusiastic team. All working to make a difference to the children who play football by providing training, encouragement and support to coaches and families. Massive responsibilities in organising all of the schedules for training and team games in all weather and keeping everyone up to date via social media. On top of all of this they even find time to help the local community in so many ways. It’s a fantastic club that’s made a difference to my family, my school and my community. We can’t thank them enough

Thank you so much for your fabulous service you really helped me as a working mam entertaining my child when I was at work, knowing she was having fun but also kept safe at all times. She had a fabulous time and I do hope she can attend in future holidays.

These holiday clubs are a god send during the holidays as it means my girls are entertained whilst I’m working as I can’t take every school holiday off with them. They are very happy with all the activities that are on offer but asked if they could go to other parks on the days out

I can not praise NE Sport holiday camps enough! Not only are the holiday camps a fantastic offer as a parent navigating childcare during the holidays (absolute life saver!), my son absolutely adores the team. The staff and volunteers are fantastic, always a great variety of activities and the mix of ages is great for socialising. My little boy is 6 and loves getting to hang out with other kids and making new friends. He asks every holiday if he’s going to camp and is always raring to go. He comes away happy, chatting away about his day and a little worn out from such a good day. “It’s great!”

Booking was simple, but you have to be quick due to popularity. Confirmation emails are prompt and additional correspondence explain the variety of activities that children can do. Additionally, there is a clear explanation as to what is required and expected including pick up, drop off and safeguarding duties. Meadow enjoyed her day. Thank you

North East Sport have been and continue to be an excellent platform to get kids into football and understand the importance of team work and working in the community. The team work tirelessly to ensure each child has a safe and secure place to play football and learn, the organisation also ensure they give back to the community as well, with many activities that support all members of the local area.

Its an amazing club! My son has attended the last two summer holidays and this year my daughter attended aswell. The children absolutely love it. No matter what the weather they have a great time. Painting, playing games, fishing, playing on the beach and in the sea; they come home exhausted and smiling. Also the fact it is free! Amazing! Have recommended this club to many Mams and I will certainly be sending my children next year.Thanks Peter and Lindsay!

Jasmine & Finn had a fantastic time at beach club the 2 days they were there. They loved it & wanted to go more. Just gutted I didnt manage to book more sessions in quick enough. Thank you to all the staff that took care of them & ensured they were kept safe & had lots of fun xxx
