Kurling – Washington Village u3a (WVu3a)

Have you ever wanted to play kurling? Washington Village u3a is for anyone who has finished working full-time.  We have an active kurling group which plays at Washington Leisure Centre at 10.00am on the second and fourth Thursday of the month.  Instead of pushing stones along the ice, we play with stones using ball-bearings so they glide along the floor of the sports hall.  We usually play in groups of 4 and the session lasts for an hour.  

You can try one of our kurling sessions for free then you will be asked to become a member of Washington Village u3a (£15 annual membership) then you can enjoy as many kurling sessions as you like.  There is also a £2.50 per person charge towards hire of the court.  Annual membership of WVu3a includes access to all our other activities which includes monthly meetings and more than 30+ other social and physical activity groups.
