Functional skills are essential skills for real-life situations, employment and further studies. We offer a range of English and maths courses for anyone who’d like to brush up on their skills, or may want to achieve a recognised qualification in these areas.

Maths – We use maths skills every day, even when we don’t realise it. We use basic addition and subtraction when we buy groceries, and more complex equations involving fractions and percentages when we create a monthly budget.

English – Having English skills isn’t just about the language. It’s also about being able to speak, listen, communicate, read and write accurately and effectively.  Our courses will support you to develop the skills you need in life, boost your confidence and increase your job opportunities.
