Drawing and Painting – Washington Village u3a (WVu3a)

Do you enjoy drawing and painting?  Or perhaps you just enjoy a bit of company when you’re feeling creative?  Washington Village u3a is for anyone who has finished working full-time.  We have a friendly group of artists which meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 2.00pm at Washington Millennium Centre.  We’re not an “art class” with a teacher but we do enjoy getting together to paint and draw and to share our enthusiasm for different types of art.  Total beginners are very welcome.  Our group leader is very experienced and always happy to give tips and demonstrations if there’s something in particular you’d like to try.  We bring our own paper and art materials and enjoy a good chat over a cup of coffee while we paint.  

You can attend one drawing and painting session free of charge (please note there is a small contribution to the cost of the room hire eg £2 or £3) then you will be asked to become a member of Washington Village u3a (£15 annual membership).  Annual membership means you can come to all further classes without charge and you’ll also have the chance to join in with all Washington Village u3a’s activities including monthly meetings and more than 30+ other social and physical activity groups.
