The connect and Engage youth project offers young people (11-17years) the opportunity to meet in a safe and nurturing environment where young people can chill, create new friendships and access new and exciting opportunities, supported by fully qualified youth workers.
The sessions offer a wide range of activities that include:
- Life skills – Cookery, Budgeting, Gardening, painting and decorating. Planning activities.
- Creative pursuits- Dance, Art & Design / Crafts.
- Out of centre activities- New experiences/ opportunities – kayaking, climbing, biking, rowing, camping
- Information and support around issues that impact young peoples everyday lives
- Training/ courses- learning opportunities
- Youth volunteers
- Referral to specialist support
