Connect and Engage Detached youth Project

Detached youth work offers young people (11-19 years) who do not want to attend centre based youth work the opportunity to engage and build positive relationships with safe adults (Qualified youth workers) on the streets where they hang out with their friends (St. Peter’s ward). Young people’s engagement with the team is purely voluntarily and predominately based on trust. Our team offer a range of information and support around issues that impact young people’s every day lives. In addition, young people have the opportunity to access out of centre activities.
